Supportive Practice

We practice this beneficial attitude in Karate-do and stillness exercises. In Karate we practice inner harmony and balance on a physical basis. In stillness exercises, we practice mental techniques to support our access to resources and a gentle focus on change. Both are offered weekly in ongoing classes as well as in workshops and seminars for further study.

Solution focused therapy channels our strengths and resources. It thus enables us to deal with ourselves and our life challenges. However, inner focus on gentle change makes life more managable well beyond the original subjects of our therapy.

We can practice such a focus consciously. Doing so, our inner system grows accustomed to harmonious reactions. We reach for them instinctively, just like we previously reached for those that weighed on us.
